The existing supplier is always entitled to 28 days notice, so it usually takes between 4 to 6 weeks for the transfer to occur.

It should take you no more than about 5 minutes
Do I need to do anything?
No, uchange4better takes care of everything for you, from placing the existing supplier on notice, to ensuring that the new contract is set up swiftly and in accordance with your requirements.
What information do I require to complete the application?
If you have elected to pay by direct debit then you should have you banking details to hand. Ideally you should also have your current bills in front of you so that we can obtain your gas MPRN and/or electricity MPAN from these. Is my personal information ever used for marketing purposes?

What happens if my new supplier becomes uncompetitive or if I have elected for a green supplier and their green energy rating changes?
As a client you can elect to join our free lifetime energy monitoring programme whereby our databases will constantly monitor the details of your new energy contract(s) you have elected against the whole market. If your new contract falls out-with the parameters you set then we will automatically write to you to advise you of the new options available to you in the market.
